Overview

LoanLens helps borrowers prepare SBA-style business plan and projection documents. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to users.

Information We Collect

• Account information, such as name, email address, password credentials, and role.
• Project information, including business plan answers, projection assumptions, uploaded logos, generated documents, review comments, and project status.
• Payment and billing records, including Stripe checkout status, customer identifiers, amounts, and billing history. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by LoanLens.
• Messages sent through the public support chatbot, any contact information voluntarily provided with those messages, and the resulting conversation transcript.
• Referral and campaign parameters, such as UTM source, medium, and campaign, when you arrive through a partner or marketing link.
• Technical information needed to operate the service, such as session cookies, request metadata, and basic usage logs.

How We Use Information

• To create, save, generate, export, and review SBA packet documents.
• To process payments, maintain billing history, and support refund requests.
• To authenticate users, administer roles, and protect the application.
• To answer support questions, follow up on requested contact, and let authorized staff review support conversations.
• To troubleshoot, improve, and maintain the service.

AI Processing

Borrower-provided project answers may be sent to AI service providers to draft business plan sections, projection assumptions, and guided interview suggestions. Messages sent through the public support chatbot may also be sent to an AI service provider to generate a response. Uploaded logo image data is not sent for business plan text generation.

Sharing

We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the product, including hosting, database, payment, email, and AI infrastructure. Authorized LoanLens administrators and reviewers may access information only as needed to operate support and the document-review workflow. We do not sell personal information.

Data Retention and Security

We retain account, project, document, review, and billing records as needed to provide the service, meet business obligations, and resolve disputes. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.

Your Choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of account or project information by contacting support. Some records may be retained where required for billing, security, legal, or operational reasons.
